If you have a customer that is purchasing a gift for another, you can track that product history in UnitWise.
All you have to do is click on the person icon in the product area on an invoice or sales receipt. You'll see a small window pop-up that asks who you are assigning the gift to. Type in the name in the box, and you're good to go!
Check out the invoice below. In this example, Amy is buying a gift for Brooke. By using the Assign To feature, the product goes to Brooke's product history, but the purchase of that product will go to Amy's sales history.
