Hello Super Stars!

Since its tax time, I thought I would share a couple new additions to our invoices you may have noticed.  There are little check boxes to make it easier for us all to adjust our invoices according to the way we want to run our business.  You have the option to tax on shipping and handling by checking the box to the right of the shipping area on the invoice.  And you also have the option to tax your customer’s order before a discount you may give or after the discount.  Since you’re an independent contractor you get to decide how to handle that situation when it comes up for you.  Remember, if you choose to tax on the after discount amount, you can recoup that uncollected sales tax on your taxes!  It’s considered “unrecovered sales tax”.
