Wow! Was last month just a rush or what? It was so much fun to experience so much energy in the area of team building. I haven’t heard the exact numbers yet on just how much our company grew but as always, I know we exceeded their expectations! The influx of new people is fun, but do you have your systems in place to make sure no one gets missed? If you haven’t already, be sure to have a template set up for a Welcome Letter” for any new team members you have. If you’re a Director, you probably have this set up. I like to send a quick letter along with a contact list for them to fill out. It’s great that with UnitWise we can go in wherever we are and send it to our new recruits. This, along with an introductory phone call to set up their Business Planning Session (or new consultant orientation) is key! I don’t like to overwhelm them with a whole packet via email when I’m first in touch with them. Instead, I prefer to suggest some quick things they can accomplish right now that will help them feel like a winner. When their kit comes in they are even more excited and by then they should already have their list of contacts filled out and an orientation with me. And, ideally inventory is ordered within 15 days of their agreement. You can have several templates set up as reminders for them to do certain things. Examples include, ordering their business cards, reminding them of their Signature Look bonus expiration date, and maybe getting back with you on their list of guests for their grand opening or their first hostesses! In addition, my next tip for you this week is to make sure you’re building your Customer Contact Groups to add new adoptees and new team members to your team and/or your unit to your email lists so they are always in the know. You can send quick notes of encouragement through UnitWise and keep good records. Your team is on fire right now and a lot of you are finishing up your Director Qualifications and your cars right now!! Keep in contact and let your team know how much they mean to you! Emails are quick and easy but remember the written word is golden!
Have an aMAYzing May! Let’s build on this momentum and carry it forward to the finish line and beyond!
