Recurring Expenses

You can now record business expenses that you incur weekly, monthly, or another regular basis in your UnitWise account!  This allows you to enter an expense (such as Rent) and set it up to occur monthly on a certain day for a specific time period.

To Access this new tool go to Accounts >> Expenses >> Add Expense.  

As you can see from the image, each expense now includes a repeating option.  These events can be repeated daily, Mon-Fri, Tues+Thurs, Mon+Wed+Fri, Weekly, Monthly, or Yearly.  


You can also select whether this event should repeat on a certain day of the month (1st, 15th, etc.)  or day of the week (Sun, Mon, Tues, etc.)

A vital part of creating a recurring expense is selecting a Range.  You must specify how long this recurring Expense remains active.  For example, your rent amount may change from year to year, therefore this expense should be setup on a yearly basis.
