Adding Facebook Buttons to Your Website
It's incredibly important to stay active on social media as a business in order to stay involved with your customers and keep them informed with what you have been up to.
A great way to do this is by adding a Facebook Like Box to your Website! This shows your website visitors that you are active on Facebook & it gives them a taste of the things that you post.
If you have a website through UnitWise, you can easily add one of these special Facebook tools in just a few minutes. To begin, you will need to go to the Facebook Social Plugin page: http://developers.facebook.com/docs/plugins/
From Here, you can select which plugin you would like to place on your website. Facebook provides many options including: Like Button, Send Button, Subscribe Button, Comments, Activity Feed, Reccomendations, Like Box, Login Button, Registration, & Facepile.
Some of the most popular ones are the Like Box & Like Button. This allows visitors to "Like" your Facebook Page directly from your website without actually being on the Facebook website itself.
After Selecting the Option that you would like to use on your site, you can edit and preview the box itself, then select "Get Code"
You can then select what type of code, you would like for the plugin. You can choose from HTML5, XFBML, IFRAME, or as a URL. With UnitWise, we reccomend using IFRAME. Right click & copy this code.
To actually add it to your website, you can login to your UnitWise account and go to Social Media >> My Website.
From Here, you can select the page to add the plugin >> click on the "Embed Media" button in the toolbar >> paste the code > Click OK
