Mary Kay Donates One Million Dollars to Love Is Respect

This Morning, Mary Kay, Inc made a Million Dollar announcement, literally.  On Anderson Live with Anderson Cooper, Mary Kay Executive Chairman Nancy Rogers & VP of Marketing Sara Friedman announced that they would be donating $1,000,000 to Love Is Respect - a National Dating Abuse Helpline.

Mary Kay has a long history of standing up to Domestic Violence, and since October is Domestic Violence Awareness Month, they are continuing to display their commitment to this worthy cause.  

Mary Kay is now the lead sponsor of a text helpline through loveisrespect. This is the nation's first text message helpline of its kind.

Since teens and young adults communicate through text messages more than any other group, this new helpline should be particularly effective for Millenials & Gen Y.
