How to Record Personal Use, Demo or Donations Transactions
Once you have created the Personal Use/Demo or Donations customer and you wish to add products that you intend for your Personal Use/Demos or Donations follow these steps:
1. Create an Invoice for the Personal Use/Demo or Donations customer.Enter the products and click Save
2. At the end of the year you can run a report to tally either your Personal Use/Demo or Donations total sales. To access this report, go to Home > Reports > Sales > Sales Breakdown > enter Personal Use/Demo or Donations in the search field > Run Report.
Note: Remember to setup these customers with a default discount (50% for Personal Use/Demo, 100% for Donations) so that it will automatically track these transactions at your actual cost.
