It's A Coffee Date: Tips To Build Your Team

tips to build your teamIf you are working to build your team and booking coffee dates, the UnitWise Heroes have some great tips to help you reach your goals and help your business succeed. All you need is a great look, topped with a positive attitude, and a sprinkle of charisma.

Dress To Impress:
You only have one chance to make a lasting impression on your future-team-member. Your overall presentation should reflect the class and glamour of your business that you have worked so hard to build. Show your future-team-member the passion you have for what you do, and that starts when they first see you. (And it gives you a chance to rock that new spring skirt and heels you just bought ;)

What To Pack For Success:
So you have planned out your fabulous outfit with spring accessories, now you need to pack for success. All your information sheets should be neatly organized, a binder or folder works best. You can even customize a binder for that little extra glam when pulling it out of your bag. Remember the little things always count.
  • Director Tip:  Have your information sheets laminated so they look very professional and they are protected from tearing and crinkling.
In your binder, organize your sheets in the order you want to discuss them, that way your coffee date will flow smoothly. Remember to ask if they have any questions in between sections as you go over them. Also in your binder, have a few business cards and coupons/gift cards. (Just in-case they may not want to be a team member, they can be a wonderful client.) If you have any flyers, while you're out and about you can hang them up to expand your business.

Along with your binder and information sheets, it's a great idea to pack a gift bag including: a beauty book, printed versions of your information sheets for them to take home, your business card, and possibly a gift or samples. A great gift idea would be to include a copy of the MK Biography.

Going that extra mile to 'dress to impress' and having all your business information neat & organized gives you a polished presentation. And when your just out on the town for a day of fun, remember to pack a few beauty books with your information and a sample or coupon to hand out. You never know who could be your next client or newest team member.
