Get More Sales This Summer
Summer is coming, so more people are getting outdoors to do more activities. What happens when they do these activities? Well, they want to look their best, and they can do that with the help of your skincare products. Don’t sit back and let this opportunity to boost your sales pass you by. Use the following tips to get more sales this summer.
How To Get More Sales
You can make your clients feel more comfortable by asking them questions and getting them talking about themselves to discover what products they need. Once you find out that someone has sensitive skin you can recommend the right gentle moisturizer for them.
Be realistic about your products. People today are more skeptical than they used to be which is why in-your-face infomercials about how amazing certain cleaning products don’t work as well as they used to. Be realistic about what your products will do and don’t oversell them. However, be excited and enthusiastic about them. Share why you’re excited about a certain lip liner, but don’t be over the top.
Call and text them later to see if they have friends who would like a makeover or if they would like to have a makeup party at their place. Also, don’t be afraid to be direct and ask them themselves if they would like to buy any makeup from you.
Don’t forget to network. Add the people you meet at makeup parties to social media and use it as an outlet to reach new people. Beauty consultants ten years ago didn’t have the tools that are available now with Instagram, Twitter, LinkedIn, and more.
Be available. When people call, text, or message you respond to them as soon as you can. You don’t have to keep your phone on all the time because putting your family first is definitely important, but you don’t want to miss out on a big sale by not being available.
Think about your target audience and what they want. Are you focusing on middle-aged ladies who would like to look a little younger or are you focusing on young women in their early 20s who would love to stay up to date on the hottest trends like contouring?

Get new clients hooked by offering them a special deal or free sample. Once they try your products and realize how much they like them they will be more likely to make a purchase. Offering a free makeover is always a great way to introduce yourself and talk about tons of great items.
You can always make items seem more appealing by bundling them together. Why sell a shade of lipstick alone when you can bundle it with a lip exfoliator or clear coat to help your lipstick last longer during the day?
Don’t forget about upselling. Once a person has decided that they would like to purchase a product it doesn't hurt to mention another one. Maybe when someone decides that they would like a hand cream you can suggest a scrub for even softer hands.
