How To Prevent Summer Dry Skin

It’s really starting to heat up out there. You might find yourself feeling a little extra heated by the pool, at the beach, or just during your normal daily routine. As you heat up, so does your skin! Don’t suffer from irritated, dry skin all summer long, learn how to help your skin fight the dry heat.

Fighting Summer Dry Skin

The basics start with your showering techniques. Even though a hot steamy shower might be the only way to get up in the morning, your skin will thank you for turning down the heat. Hot showers actually dry your skin out, and you’ll benefit from a cooler, lukewarm shower instead.

Then while you’re in there remember to exfoliate with a gentle scrub. Over exfoliating can irritate sensitive skin, but gently exfoliating will help wash away debris like dirt, and dead skin that clogs your pores so your skin will be able to absorb more moisture.

When your skin is still moist from the shower then it’s the best time to apply hydrating moisturizer lotion. Put it all over! Also, it doesn’t have to be a once a day activity. Apply moisturizer before bed, during a nose powdering session, or at any point when your skin feels dry. You can even up your moisturizing game with a hydrating face mask or a refreshing face mist.

Don’t forget to hydrate your own body. Drink water all day long to hydrate your skin. Remember to up your water intake during the summer to beat heat causing dehydration. Also, you can liven your water up with cucumbers, lemons, and berries to add vitamins and minerals that will boost your skin.

Even though summer is the time to go out and catch some rays you have to protect your skin from the sun. Sit in the shade when you can and wear protective clothing like large hats. Also, don’t forget to apply, reapply, and reapply sunscreen every 2 to 3 hours. You can even get some SPF lip balm to protect the sensitive skin on your lips.

Harsh chemicals in sunscreen can really dry out your skin so look for an organic brand. Other harsh chemicals that can do a number on your skin are found in bug sprays, bath bombs, and chlorine.

After being in the sun be sure to treat any possible sunburn or skin irritation as soon as possible. Sooth your skin with some aloe vera or cooling lotion and take some aspirin to reduce inflammation.

Now we know that you aren’t going to avoid the pool, and neither are we, just keep in mind that it’s best to rinse off chlorine with warm water as soon as you can after taking a dip.

When you’re cooling off inside try not to pick a seat by a blowing fan or an AC vent. As cold air whips through the room, it can dry your skin out faster than you know it. However, You could place a humidifier in the room to add moisture to the air.

Keep Cool This Summer

Don’t like irritated, itchy skin hold you back from enjoying summer activities! Keep your skin nice and hydrated for comfort all season long. Don’t hold yourself back from the pool or a day by the lake, just be prepared to protect your skin from the sun and never forget to moisturize!

Banish Acne With 3 Small Changes

Nothing can ruin your morning like waking up and discovering a brand new pimple on your face. It’s especially frustrating with age, I mean we’re not full of raging teenage hormones anymore, so what gives? Why do breakouts still happen?! If you’re plagued with pimples, blemishes, and more, don’t worry you can put an end to frustration with a few simple changes.

How To Prevent Acne

Adjust What You Eat

We aren’t suggesting that you totally alter your diet but it might be time to consider making a few healthier choices. Sugar in desserts like cookies or refined carbs like white bread can wreak havoc on skin. They cause your blood sugar to increase and more insulin is created, then, as a result, your skin produces more oil which clogs your pores, leading to acne.

Also, greasy food is not a great option for your skin either. Now we understand the irresistible urge to chow down on some pizza or fries, but these foods coat your fingers in grease, then once you touch your skin the oil is transferred, resulting in a pore clogging break out.

Instead of indulging in junk food consider healthier options full of vitamins, nutrients, and antioxidants that are good for your skin. Fruits, vegetables, nuts, foods rich in healthy fats like fish, avocados, and nuts are all great options.

Another great thing to do is put down the soda for options like water and green tea. Water hydrates your skin and flushes out toxins and green tea is full of beneficial antioxidants.

Take Time To Relax

Nothing makes skin freak out like chronic stress, but most of us are stuck in go mode these days. It’s hard to catch a breath between long days at work and busy commutes, but adding some time for relaxation can really transform your skin.

Try joining a yoga class to find your inner chi or take a walk around the block. Exercising is actually a great way to relax because it releases tension from your muscles and gets your blood flowing. Then more blood and oxygen are carried to your face to create lively, energetic skin. Also, sweat cleans your pores as it passes through them!

Other ways to relax include reading a book or magazine with a glass of wine, soaking in a warm bath, or going to your favorite salon for a mani and pedi.

Up Your Skin Care Regimen

Acne is caused when pores are blocked with dead skin, excess oil, makeup, and more. You need to wash your face to remove these items. It’s very important to wash your face twice a day. Morning and night. It only takes a minute to add washing your face to your morning or getting ready for bed routine.

If you don’t wash your face at night at least remove your makeup. It only takes a few seconds to grab a wipe and rub your face down. Just remember that face wash and makeup remover can dry your face out, and dry skin blocks your pores, so moisturize right after you clean your face every time.

Also, clean the items that regularly come into contact with your face. Your hands, for example, carry grease and bacteria, so wash them often and try touching your face less. Your phone screen is another item that can transfer unwanted items to your face, so keep it clean. Your pillowcase collects grease and bacteria all night long while you sleep, so remember to wash and change your sheets often. Also, don't forget to clean your make up brushes!

Enjoy Being Acne Free

You don’t have to suffer from acne forever or pay for an expensive treatment to have clear skin. Making a few simple changes to your daily routine with healthier options, a little you time to relax, and taking a minute or two to wash your face can yield major results!

Inspirational Women To Learn From

Without Mary Kay’s inspirational hard work and determination, her company wouldn’t have progressed to what it is today. Not only has it created millions of jobs around the world, it’s given women the tools for self-confidence and success. Plus, we can all learn from Mary Kay’s values and advice. Today we’re taking the time to not only celebrate Mary Kay but to also celebrate more inspirational women who we can learn a lot from.

Inspirational Women

Amelia Earhart

Amelia Earhart always had a taste for adventure and learning as she grew up. She loved books, chemistry, and more, but nothing topped her interest in aviation. Although she was the 16th woman to receive her pilot’s license, she broke many records and achieved great things as she was the first woman to ever fly solo across the Atlantic.

She was an advisor to aeronautical engineering and a career counselor to female students at Purdue University. Also, Amelia was a member of the National Woman’s Party and an early supporter of the Equal Rights Amendment. She aspired to push herself beyond the limits and stood up for what she believed in.

Madam C.J. Walker

Sarah Breedlove, known as Madam C.J. Walker was not only the first female self-made millionaire in America, but she was the first self-made African American millionaire in America! She worked hard as a laundress barely earning about a dollar a day, working hard to afford a formal education for her daughter.

Once Walker noticed how African American women were having issues such as dandruff, baldness, and skin disorders due to the application of the harsh soaps of the time she developed her own hair and beauty products.

She went door to door selling them and teaching people how to take care of their hair and eventually opened up her own manufacturing company, salon, and beauty school to train other women. Walker created jobs for thousands of women and even became an international success.

Grace Hopper

Grace Murray Hopper or ‘Amazing Grace’ used her great mind to pave the way for computer programming. She was a rear admiral in the Navy and always was aspiring to learn. She always worked hard and even earned a bachelor's degree in mathematics and physics as well as her master's degree and Ph.D. in mathematics from Yale.

When World War II started she tried to enlist in the Navy but she was too old at age 34, her height to weight ratio was too low, and she was actually 15 pounds below the Navy’s minimum weight of 120 pounds.

Luckily her outstanding career in mathematics was considered valuable to the war effort. Grace served on the Mark I computer programming staff and invented the first compiler for a computer programming language. Her work popularized the idea of machine-independent programming languages, which was the beginning of COBOL, the major data processing language used today.

Don’t Forget About Yourself

We believe that all women can be great with hard work and perseverance. From flying across oceans, becoming a self-made millionaire, to putting your mind to the matter, you can accomplish greatness. Never give up and follow your passions!

Your Guide To The Perfect Fake Tan

It might be time for that summer vacation or a fun day at the pool with your friends, only one problem. You totally haven’t had any time to tan. What do you do, go outdoors confidentially in your swim suit rocking a shade of pale? That’s always an option, but you could also quickly fake tan to look like the sun has been kissing your body for weeks now!

Fake Tanning Tips

Tanning Beds

In the spring it never hurts to get a membership to a tanning salon to create a nice base tan. This type of tan isn't exactly fake, but they also aren’t caused by the real sun. The thing to remember about tanning beds is to start off slow.

If you’re really pale then 5 to 10 minutes will be enough for your first few sessions. Also, if you tan in your birthday suit remember than tender skin that hasn’t seen the sunlight in a long time can burn very easily. Consider putting a little sunscreen on extra pale areas to prevent getting a sunburn.

Spray Tans

You could also go somewhere for a quick spray tan. Just remember to shave and do all of your hair removal 24 hours before your session. This gives any nicks or cuts times to close up and heal so they won’t get irritated by the tanning spray. Also, shaving or getting a wax after a spray tan could strip the color away.

Orange spots on the bottom of your feet can give a spray tan away, so either really step in puddles of spray tan on the ground to really cover your feet or cover your soles with some tape to prevent any contact with the liquid on the bottom of your feet.

Self Tanner

When it comes to self tanners keep in mind that what you pay for is what you get. To avoid looking orange go for a more expensive brand. It may even be best to research your options to find the best brand.

Also, you don’t want to pick the darkest shade of self tanner that you can find. In order to look natural only go a few shades darker than your actual skintone. If you’re so white that you actually reflect the sun, don’t worry, there are lighter shades of fake tanner that you can use.

Before applying your self tanner be sure to exfoliate all of your dead skin away so you can coat your body evenly. Then avoid putting any moisturizing products on your skin beforehand, because that will coat your skin and prevent the tanner from being fully absorbed.

However, dry areas of the skin like your elbows, knees, and heels can absorb more color and end up looking darker than the rest of your body. You can apply lotion to those areas to prevent that from happening.

Remember that your hair and eyebrows can actually absorb some of the self tanner, so coat your hairline and brows before applying it. Then put on some latex gloves to prevent your hands from turning orange and your nails from getting full of gunk.

Then apply the self tanner everywhere. Everywhere the sun hits including the back of your ears, neck, back of your knees, and more. Got a buddy to help with areas that you can’t reach or use a mitt on the end of a long scrubbing brush to reach your back.

After you remove the gloves apply self tanner to your hands with cotton balls. Be sure to get the creases in your knuckles and to include the areas between your fingers.

Then prepare for the drying phase. You can use a blow dryer to speed this process up, just remember to set the air on a cooler setting. You’ll wanna put on very loose fitting clothes for the next few hours, and before bed consider putting towels down to avoid staining the sheets. Once you wake up and shower you’ll have flawless, darker skin.

Rock That Tan

There’s still time before that day at the lake or pool party to make it look like you’ve been tanning for weeks. Just find the best option for you between the tanning bed, spray tanning, and using self tanner.

What To Avoid For Perfect Skin

If you have acne, don’t freak out, you can easily cover any pimples and spots up with makeup right? Even though the process can be a little extra time consuming, and you’ll have to use extra products, you can easily make acne disappear. However, there is a much simpler way to get rid of acne, prevent wrinkles, aging skin, and more. Just avoid what causes it in the first place!

Avoid These Items For Perfect Skin

Carcinogens

A Carcinogen is defined as a substance capable of causing cancer in living tissue, like your skin. This doesn’t mean that it will but it can. There are a number of carcinogens in skin care products today, like synthetic colors, formaldehyde, BHT, BHA, found in moisturizers and lipsticks. These are also linked to causing skin irritation and allergic reactions. Try to get organic, all natural makeup and skincare products if you can.

Speaking of carcinogens, put down the cigarettes, they’re loaded with them! Plus, cigarettes break down the elastin and collagen in your skin, making it sag, and cause wrinkles. Every time you purse your lips to take a puff lines form around your lips and eventually become permanent. Also, smoking can give your skin a weird yellow tinge. For the love of beauty, kick that nasty habit.

Alcohol

Rubbing alcohol (Whew, we didn’t mention the kind you drink) is often sought after in cleansing products for its ability to wipe out bacteria, but it actually dries out your skin and irritates it. Then the irritation leads to redness, enlarges your pores, and can even break down the surface of your skin. Also, because it strips all the oil from your face your skin might freak out and produce even more to compensate!

The alcohol that you drink (Sorry :( ) isn’t good for your skin either. It dehydrates it, causing loss of firmness and color. Alcohol also inflames the skin leading to redness and causes blood vessels to swell. If smaller blood vessels in your face around your nose and under your eyes burst then you could have long lasting red spots on your face. Now we aren’t suggesting to give up alcohol, just drink responsibly and maybe don’t overdo it the night before an important event.

Lemon

Lemons are often worshiped as an organic skincare product that kills bacteria, has vitamin C, gets rid of dark spots, clears blackheads, and more. While lemons are organic and do contain vitamins and nutrients, lemon juice can burn your skin. It’s extremely acidic!

Lemon juice can leave your face feeling tender, and sensitive to the touch. It can also cause your skin to turn red and lowers your skin’s ability to protect itself from the sun. If you’re going to use lemon juice also dilute it in water first and avoid going out in the sun that day.

Popping and Squeezing

Whenever we get pimples or bumps the first instinct is to squeeze it. I mean ew, get this thing off my face as soon as possible right?! While everyone has those common thoughts, they need to fight themselves and not touch their faces.

Most people don’t wash their hands before touch their face and as a result spread bacteria to their skin, which can lead to a bigger breakout. Also, squeezing pimples leads to the spreading of pus under the skin, leading to more pimples. If you squeeze too hard, irritate your skin, or cause your face to bleed then you could have red spots and permanent scars as a result.

Enjoy Perfect Skin

It’s not hard to have clear, perfect skin, You just have to be mindful of what you put on it, and in some cases what you put in your body. Just remember to thoroughly research your skincare and makeup options before trying something new and keep those hands off of your face. 12 Summer Haircare Tips To Fight Frizz

Summer is coming, meaning we can expect days near the pool and playing on the beach. The excitement for spending more time outdoors and taking summer vacations is exhilarating, but amidst the summer joy, we can’t forget about our hair!

Outdoor activities like swimming and soaking up sun rays can really dry our hair and turn op the frizz, so before your summer activities get started refer to our summer care tips to have flawless beachy locks all season long.

Summer Haircare

1. Get a fresh cut

First things first, out with the old and in with the new. Before The summer turns up to heat go to your stylist for a light trim. It’s time to remove dead ends to freshen up your hair. By removing the dead of winter you’ll notice how much healthier and more lively your hair seems for the growing season in spring and summer.

2. Turn up the moisture

Make sure your hair gets properly moisturized to fight summer dryness. Look into moisturizing shampoos and conditioners. Consider deep conditioning your hair once or twice a week. You can also use hair masks to condition your hair and scalp. Check out products with mint or aloe vera for a refreshing and rejuvenating feeling. Avoid products like hairspray with alcohol in them that will dry your hair out.

3. Wash less

Summer isn’t the time to up your hair washing game. The ocean and pools will strip the essential oils from your scalp and hair, and so will daily washing, leaving your hair and scalp too dry for comfort. Instead of washing your hair daily try using dry shampoo. Using dry shampoo before bed will help soak up excess oil.

4. Avoid adding more heat

It’s already hot enough in the summer, so avoid your heated hair tools. Avoid blow drying your hair and straightening it as much as possible. If you absolutely have to blow dry your hair use a lower heat setting, or do it at night when the temperatures outdoors have cooled off.

5. Protect your hair from the sun

Protect your hair and scalp when you’re outdoors. Wear a hat to protect your hair and scalp from the sun, or use hair care products with UV protection in them. When you have sunscreen on your hands run them through your hair to add moisture and to protect it from the sun.

6. Presoak before the pool

One pre-swimming trick you can do is to either wet your hair or saturate it with leave in conditioner or a little neem before hitting the pool. This will help your hair absorb less chemicals from pool water and less salt from the ocean. It will feel softer and behave more as a result.

7. Keep your hair blonde, not green

What in the world will blondes do when they jump in the pool and come out with a green tint in their hair? The solution for them is simple, all blondes have to do is rinse their hair with a mixture of 1/4th a cup of apple cider vinegar and 2 cups of water to restore their color.

8. Protect your color

The sun and summer activities can dull your hair color if it’s dyed, so if you want to protect it be sure to get products for color-treated hair to protect your color from fading.

9. Pull your hair back

Gee whiz, how the summer makes hair frizz. Fight it by wearing your hair back in a braid, ponytail, or bun. Just make sure that your hair isn’t pulled back too tightly. By braiding your hair or wearing it up to bed you’ll actually create a flawless wavy beach look for the next day.

10. Check out anti-frizz products

Summer is the time to fight frizz with anti-frizz serums and creams. You could use an essential oil like argan oil but only use one little drop. In fact, less is more with all of these products to avoid weighing your hair down or making it look greasy.

11. Keep your hair out of your face

If you’re out in the heat it’s best to have your hair back away from your face to prevent it from soaking up sweat. Use your sunglasses or a headband to keep your hair pack or simply put it up.

12. Take care of yourself.

Be healthy and drink enough water to prevent dehydrating yourself and your hair. Also, load up on the fruits and veggies. All of the vitamins and nutrients like zinc, B vitamins, iron, calcium, and more will give your hair a lively boost.

Enjoy Summer, With Perfect Hair!

You’ve perfected your look all winter and spring long, so don’t let it fall through the cracks this summer. Have the perfect beach look for months with our simple hair care tips! Also, enjoy that summer vacation, we know you earned it!

However, we know that some people may not feel comfortable typing in their information on your phone, that’s why you can get the ProPay Jak. It plugs right into your phone and your clients can simply swipe their cards to complete their transaction.

If your client needs a payment plan to complete their transaction then you can create a payment plan for them with an invoice. Remember, a receipt is for a completed transaction, and an invoice is when customers don’t pay for their total in full.

It’s incredibly quick and easy to create an invoice or receipt with UnitWise. Products can be added in the blink of an eye because you can search for their name, product number, or description to add them. Discounts can also be entered and we will handle the math for you.

Your invoices are 100% customizable to easily fit the payment plan that you and your client agree on. The due date for each of your invoices will be tracked by your UnitWise account so you can be reminded when payment due dates are near.

The Invoice Due report will let you see all of your outstanding payment plans so you can see which invoices are due soon, giving you enough time in advance to notify your clients.

But wouldn’t it be nice for clients to be able to just log in on their own to pay their invoice online? Well with UnitWise they can. Simply follow the easy step-by-step guide to create your own UnitWise site to post a link to the UW Payment Hub or email it to them.

You can either create a login for your clients or they can create their own. Then when their invoice due date is near they can sign on and see their open invoices to make a payment. Once a payment has been made the invoice will be marked as paid via the UW Payment Hub, so you can keep up with it for your records.

Simplify Payments With UnitWise Today

Why wait? Sign up for your free 15-day trial with UnitWise right now to see how easy online payments, invoices, and more can be. Once you test out the amazing business management features for yourself you’ll wonder how members of the beauty consulting industry function without them!

Get More Sales This Summer

Summer is coming, so more people are getting outdoors to do more activities. What happens when they do these activities? Well, they want to look their best, and they can do that with the help of your skincare products. Don’t sit back and let this opportunity to boost your sales pass you by. Use the following tips to get more sales this summer.

How To Get More Sales

It’s important to realize that the art of sales doesn’t involve simply pushing products because it also involves being good with people. It’s time to be more social by being approachable, so always have a welcoming smile on your face and don’t be afraid to start a conversation.

You can make your clients feel more comfortable by asking them questions and getting them talking about themselves to discover what products they need. Once you find out that someone has sensitive skin you can recommend the right gentle moisturizer for them.

Be realistic about your products. People today are more skeptical than they used to be which is why in your face infomercials about how amazing certain cleaning products don’t work as well as they used to. Be realistic about what your products will do and don’t oversell them. However, be excited and enthusiastic about them. Share why you’re excited about a certain lip liner, but don’t be over the top.

Never let a trail run cold. One big mistake beauty consultants make is by not following up with people. Once you get names and numbers at makeup parties then you have tons of leads.

Call and text them later to see if they have friends who would like a makeover or if they would like to have a makeup party at their place. Also, don’t be afraid to be direct and ask them themselves if they would like to buy any makeup from you.

Don’t forget to network. Add the people you meet at makeup parties to social media and use it as an outlet to reach new people. Beauty consultants ten years ago didn’t have the tools that are available now with Instagram, Twitter, LinkedIn, and more.

Be available. When people call, text, or message you respond to them as soon as you can. You don’t have to keep your phone on all the time because putting your family first is definitely important, but you don’t want to miss out on a big sale by not being available.

Think about your target audience and what they want. Are you focusing on middle-aged ladies who would like to look a little younger or are you focusing on young women in their early 20’s who would love to stay up to date on the hottest trends like contouring?

Get new clients hooked by offering them a special deal or free sample. Once they try your products and realize how much they like them they will be more likely to make a purchase. Offering a free makeover is always a great way to introduce yourself and talk about tons of great items.

You can always make items seem more appealing by bundling them together. Why sell a shade a lipstick alone when you can bundle it with a lip exfoliator or clear coat to help your lipstick last longer during the day?

Don’t forget about upselling. Once a person has decided that they would like to purchase a product it doesn't hurt to mention another one. Maybe when someone decides that they would like a hand cream you can suggest a scrub for even softer hands.

Tis’ The Season For Sales

The sun is shining and people are getting out and about while wanting to look their best. It’s a great time to kick up your business a notch by pushing for more sales. What do you have to lose? Aside from missing out on great sales opportunities!

Finding The Right Shade Of Foundation

We are taking things back to the basics because as you teach potential clients about makeup at your makeup parties or do some consulting work you will quickly realize there are a few people out there who don’t know where to start with makeup. In order to educate the masses to get more sales use our makeup guides to teach beginners everything they need to know. Today’s topic is finding the right foundation.

Finding The Right Foundation

It’s important to explain the different between foundation and concealer because it’s extremely common for ladies to think that they are the same thing. Foundation is what you use to cover your entire face and concealer is what you use to cover dark spots like bags under the eyes or acne.

There is a little bit of debate over whether you should use concealer or foundation first. Some experts suggest using concealer first to evenly cover dark spots, and others suggest using it second, so you’ll end up using less. In the makeup world, less is always more to avoid looking thick and cakey.

Also, you want your concealer and foundation to match or to be close in color so they will blend well together. Otherwise, you might need a 3rd shade to prevent any noticeable overlapping of colors while blending.

The overall goal is to find a shade of foundation that matches your skin tone. That may seem obvious, but it’s to not total beginners. Getting a shade that’s lighter than your skin can end up making you look like you’re wearing too much makeup or chalky.

Also, picking a shade that’s too dark can make you look orange, or overly tan. When it comes down to the wire and you have to make a quick foundation decision always go with the shade of foundation that’s slightly darker. Never go lighter.

To see what color truly matches your skin tone test a little of the foundation on the back of your hand or chest. However, it's important to test the color in an area that has natural light. Your skin doesn’t always look like the way it does under bright fluorescent lights in the makeup store. Remember, you can walk outside of the store to see how closely different shades of foundation match your skin tone. Just don't walk out while holding any products!

When in doubt ask for help. The associates in makeup stores know what they’re doing. They will walk you through the foundation matching process step-by-step. However, at the end of the day, it’s important that you pick the shade that you like the most. Wear your makeup with comfort and confidence.

Be sure to pick the right type of foundation as well. Do you have oily or dry skin? Because that makes a difference! You may need a powder foundation to soak up some oil or a liquid one to moisturize your skin. Foundations in stick form are for highlighting and contouring.

Use the right tool for applying your foundation. Fingers are fine for applying foundation as long as you make sure to evenly apply it. It’s better to use either a sponge or a makeup brush with angled bristles. For powder foundation, it’s best to use a fluffy brush for a light finish.

Turn Beginners Into Pros

Get more sales by teaching beginners everything they need to know about makeup. Once they realize how easy it is to use they will be hooked and might even become lifetime customers. Remember to start with the basics, and foundation is always a great topic to cover.

More more beauty tips visit UnitWise.com and please share your foundation tips in the comment section below.

Boost Your Beauty Business With Email Marketing

Getting more sales is always one of your goals as a member of the beauty consulting industry right? We know you’re already a pro at hosting makeup parties and hooking new leads to push your products, but have you considered taking things to a digital level? By using UnitWise to create marketing emails you could boost your sales online by only taking a minute or two to make the perfect message for your target audience. It’s a quick and simple way to hook more customers.

UnitWise

UnitWise is the best personal assistant you could ever ask for. It’s the number one business management solution that’s specifically designed for NSDs, directors, and independent beauty consultants. Plus, it comes with tons of innovative, time-saving features for inventory management, accounting, unit reports, email marketing, and more.

Email Marketing With UnitWise

Email marketing is the most cost-effective method of advertising because everyone checks their email at least once a day, and the space inside of their inbox is free, so why not take up some of that space with an email advertising a discount or sale?

By sending out marketing emails you will be expanding your brand and online presence for free. It’s a way to get repeat customers to purchase more products and to hook new clients. You can design a targeted email to reach a specific audience in a matter of minutes.

The idea of creating a marketing email shouldn’t be intimidating because UnitWise has already taken care of the complicated parts for you. With UnitWise you’ll have access to a premade email template where you can simply drag and drop images and charts.

Your marketing emails are 100% customizable. It’s extremely easy to edit the fonts to be any size or color that you want, change the color of the background, and you can add an unlimited amount of images or videos to your emails. Once you’ve finished creating an email you can save it as a template to use again later.

Each email also has an individualized appearance. All of the email addresses that your email goes to will be hidden, so it will look like your email was sent individually to each one of your clients. Also, the greeting will automatically include your customer’s name.

You can create customized email groups to send your marketing emails to. This way you can target certain groups for products. For example, if you have customers who enjoy the hand repair kit you can create a group for them and then send them special discounts on scrubs and hand creams.

Plus, with UnitWise you can plan your emails in advance and schedule them to send out on a certain day and time. This way you don’t have to rush to create emails the day of your sale. You can spend one afternoon planning out your special deals and discounts for the entire week, month, or more!

No one will receive your emails if they don’t want them because UnitWise has made it extremely easy for people to unsubscribe from your messages. Once they unsubscribe they’ll longer receive your marketing emails.

Email marketing takes a little practice to learn what your audience enjoys and responds best to. That’s why you can view email marketing reports at any time to see the open rate, conversion rate, how many people went to your site from the email, unsubscribes, and more. Learn from your totals to see which sale your clients like the most and when the best time to send an email out is.

Try UnitWise Now

Sign up for your free 15-day trial with UnitWise to instantly see how easy it is to boost your sales with email marketing. You’ll also gain access to tons of revolutionary features for invoicing, social media management, consultant management, building a personal website, and more.
